It would be great for CX to bring back more aircraft, and for us to enjoy true competition on fares on J to Europe and Asia.

Fifth Freedom Rights Query
Jul 28, 2023, 10:58 AMWhy do countries like Singapore, UAE (when QF flew via DXB) offer fifth freedom rights for carriers out of their countries, but Australia does not offer this to say United States, but countries like NZ? I know the govt blocked SQ from flying to the US from here many times before.

Air nz tickets via Webjet cheaper
Jun 29, 2023, 12:03 PMi have booked with webjet before. Flight changes incur a double fee, one with them, and one with the airline. Airline will not speak to you for anything, you have to go through webjet.However, when the price difference is significant, it is worth buying via any reputable online or other agents.

Jun 25, 2023, 03:07 AMWhen QF announces sale fares to the US for $7300, you know how it is looking with forward bookings. I would assume less leisure travel is being planned, and only a smaller amount of businesses would justify $12-$15k business class fares.
