Needed, Sapang is just too far away from KL... the flight may be 50 minutes, but the transfer is about the same in a car

USB=C is mandated in the EU from end of 2024 for phone and 2026 for laptops, since the system is designed to be 2 way, they can't really avoid it over there. I expect that will see the end of the Universal AC plug under your thighs. Hopefully the types of USB will be captured on Aerolopa and Seat...

Since CX are only doing 134 a couple of times a week (which I am happy to fly PE on out bound) the timing is good. CX104 is still the best if you are transiting to European flights. Mind you an A351 is a bit nicer than an A333, but CX are also using 77W's and since QF and CX are usually the same ...

I am 195, about 6'4”, although Mel based I have done JL51 HAN-SYDThe JAL bed is too small to sleep easily unless you are a side sleeper (I am) these older skysuites are wider than the new ones, and ok for me (although I haven't been in skysuite3)I would also take the direct flight unless you need...

As always the hardest pert is getting out of Australia, SQ has more available I have found, especially from Melbourne which is hard on Saver FF (worse with Oneworld network), but don't discount buying a local flight to connect from say ADL or CBR where you can get better options
